Food people avoid taking when they have high cholesterol Why Doctors Don’t Tell You This?
May 30

Since 2006, the prices of the cholesterol lowering drugs has been dropping as two big statins, Merck’s Zocor and Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Pravachol, went generic in 2006.  Prices of Lipitor has also been affected because insurers are asking patients to switch to the cheaper generic drug.

However, the drop of the cholesterol drug has resulted in the increase of the diabetes drug.  Not too sure what is the relations between the 2 but I suspect that one got to make up for the profit for the other drug, that’s my guess.

Why should one depend on 2 different type of drugs to lower cholesterol or control their diabetes where there could a natural alternative out there that could address both concerns at the same time?
